The Fluke 5220A Transconductance Amplifier lets you calibrate AC or DC meters and shunts and the current functions of DMM's that measure up to 20 Amps. Input voltage of 1 to 20 volts via the front panel banana jacks produces a known output current of 1 to 20A.
Alternatively, the 5220A is commonly configured with Fluke 5100B via rear panel cabling. In this configuration, the 5220A is directly controlled via the 5100 keypad as one integrated system. The rear panel interface and cabling are available separately. (see the additional accessories tab)
The 5220A may also be used with a current coil to calibrate clamps and clamp meters above its rated 20A output.
