The Agilent HP 11793A Microwave Converter downconverts microwave signals to the frequency range of the 8902A measuring receiver. For signals above 1.3GHz, the unit routes the signal through its internal mixer. Below 1.3GHz, signals are routed directly to the input of the 8902A. The 11793A requres +8 dBm leveled output fron the local oscillator.
Includes option 011 which moves the L.O. connector to the front right of the instrument, and adds an 18 - 26.5 GHz internal amplifier for use with local oscillators which cannot supply the required power above 18 GHz.
