TTC 42242

The TTC Diphase Interface Adaptor Model 42242 inserts into the FIREBERD mainframe providing the physical connection to systems or equipment using conditioned diphase modulation.  The Diphase Interface can operate at data rates from 1.2 kb/s to 4.608 Mb/s.  An ALBO circuit automatically compensates for up to 30 dB of cable loss at all data rates.

Two BNC connectors provide the physical connection to the circuit or equipment being tested.  Three toggle switches are used to select the input termination, transmit timing, and rate selection. Input impedance selections are: 58 ohms, 135 ohms, or BRIDGE (>2K ohms).  Transmit timing selections are: RX or LOCAL.  The rate selection (RATE SEL) controls the receive and transmit data rate.  A DIP switch allows selection of either conditioned diphase encoding or diphase (Manchester) encoding.
