 The 5120 2 Mbit/s Digital Transmission Test Set is a versatile and comprehensive test instrument. It can perform a variety of simultaneous measurements on virtually any 2 Mbit/s signal path or media including digital radio, fiberoptic, and satellite transmission systems.

The 5120 is designed to be easy to use. The controls and most of the connectors are on the front panel, and operations are menu-driven. LED indicators tell you the status of over 40 parameters at a glance and the fluorescent display provides even more detailed results.

Options Included

  • Option 02 - Nx64 Drop & Insert Testing.
    • This option allows the 5120 to perform drop and insert Bit Error Rate Testing (BERTS) on N x 64 kbit/s channels in a 2 Mbit/s signal, where N = 1 to 30.
