The TTC "Interceptor 1402S" Communications Analyzer offers monitoring and testing at 2, 8, 34, 140M, 155M, and 622Mb/S in a single instrument.  It provides analysis and stress testing of synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) and plesiochronous digital hierarchy (PDH) networks and equipment.  It is used to test your network from one access point, multiplex and de-multiplex.

Offering a full suite of measurements, the INTERCEPTOR 1402S provides more than 150 results in the following categories: SDH alarms, PDH tributary alarms (including alarms within a structured 140M/VC4 and 2M/VC12, SDH and PDH frames, PRBS and coding, and timing and signal (including round trip delay).

1402S 622 Mb/s Test Option enables the INTERCEPTOR to generate and monitor 622 Mb/s signals, along with the ability to drop, insert, and analyze channels from 622 Mb/s access points. Complete testing can be performed by combining SDH analysis, network synchronization testing, and E1 analysis capabilities.

The STM-4 622 Mb/s Option provides simultaneous section, line, path, and virtual tributary analysis for the isolation of network problems and error sources from 622 Mb/s down to the E1 rates and N x 64 kb/s subrates.
