The 235A is an extremely versatile instrument.  It has been designed to address a wide range of test requirements related to PCM based communications systems and transmission. In brief, the instrument can be used for qualifying almost any new digital communication system and maintaining it over its operational life.

The 54B DSO channel capabilities include:

  • display and analysis of bit patterns
  • display in real time of the signaling states
  • measurements of VF signal level and frequency
  • noise level measurement with several weighting filters
  • VA signal reproduction (speakers)
  • VA signal access (jack) for futher signal processing
  • display signaling states in all 24 DSO channels simultaneously

This unit has the following options:
