Lightweight but powerful handheld test set for Metro Ethernet and IP services

The VEEX / Sunrise Telecom SunLite GigE is a small, rugged, handheld test set with rechargeable battery operation for convenient installation and maintenance of Metro Ethernet and IP services.

The SunLite GigE is ideal for field technicians verifying end-to-end transport of Gigabit Ethernet/IP traffic, performing BER tests, and verifying throughput, link utilization, latency, packet jitter, and IP connectivity.

The intuitive user interface and menu structure of the SunLite GigE, and easy creation and sharing of test profiles, allows a quick learning curve even for technicians with limited experience.

The comprehensive set of test functions provides all of the tools necessary to verify Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between service providers and their customers.

  • IP verification with Ping, Traceroute, ARP scan, Echo Response, and IP Throughput across a routed network

  • Class of Service (CoS) (via VLAN P-bit) and IP Type of Service (ToS)/DSCP traffic prioritization settings
