The Gigatronics 1026 is a great choice for covering a wide frequency band ( 50 MHz to 26 GHz) with excellent performance for the price.  

It generates an accurate, stable, and spectrally pure output with resolution of 1 MHz.  Output levels are from +10 to -119 dBm.
