The “LT” in 990LT stands for “light”, but in name only. The 990LT is built on the same advanced platform used in some of the world’s most notable next generation network build-outs. In its base configuration, it delivers the core functionality needed to test and troubleshoot copper telecom circuits quickly, easily and affordably. A broad range of capabilities are included: basic metallic tests like voltage, resistance, opens, balance and noise. Voice band transmission testing, including automated dial-up and terminated test routines are also available, along with load coil detection, a precision resistive fault locator, and impulse noise detection with 17.7 MHz bandwidth.
