The series 105 is a family of regulated precision laboratory high voltage, 1 kW power supplies.
They provide exceptional performance in applications such as general-purpose laboratory, materials analysis and radar systems among others.
DESCRIPTION
The units are fully enclosed and designed to mount in a standard 19" rack. A wide range of stable output voltages, up to 50kV is available. The output voltage and current are controlled by the calibrated front panel controls or from a remote voltage or resistance programming source.
Optional IEEE-488 control is available with the Bertan Model 105-C488 which can provide intelligent remote IEEE-488 programming and monitoring of any Series 105 power supply.
The units are either fixed polarity, suffix P for positive or N for negative, or reversible polarity, suffix R. Reversible polarity units include either a polarity switch on the bottom of the unit or an internal polarity reversing assembly.
The Series 105 units consist of a DC power supply which converts the AC line voltage (115/230Vac jumper selectable) to a DC voltage and a DC to DC converter which generates the high DC voltage. Low voltage electronic solid state circuits are mounted on printed circuit boards and the high voltage assembly is fully encapsulated in silicone rubber for reliable, arc-free, stable operation.
