The HP 37732A telecom/datacom analyzer provides testing at V.24, V.35, .11/X.21-leased interfaces at rates up to 2 Mb/s. It also provides a full range of BER measurements:
  • control-circuit timing analysis with transitions diagrams on the screen
  • built-in V.24 breakout box
  • internal synthesizer
  • event-based storage in text and graphic form.

The HP 37732A analyzer reduces test time and speeds problem resolution by simplifying test setup. It presents results in easy-to-read and easy-torecord ways that make it easy to pinpoint the cause of a problem.

Following options included:

  • Option 002 - 8MB/s Measurements
  • Option 003 - 704 kb.s Measurements
  • Option 015 - Sub-64 kb/s singla tests; freq/bit slips. Combines options 005 & 010.  Relative frequency of & bit slips between 2 CCITT G.703 2Mb/s signals; sub-64 kb/s testing & timeslot access, tone generation/measurement.
  • Option 210 - M2110 & M2120 enhancement to std M2100

As configured, this unit tests at telecom rates of 8 MB, 2 mB, 704 KB, plus subrate testing belwo 64KB.  Also datacom testing from 50 b/s to 2048 b/s on V.24, V.35, V.11/X.21-leased.
